Mena's Garden News!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful stretch of weather we are having! Im so happy summer has arrived!

We have two exciting updates! First, Mena's Garden will be at the Stoney Creek Farmer's Market in Branford CT (at Bayview Park on Sundays from 10-2pm. We will be there every OTHER week starting Sunday, June 23rd. Stop by and say hello. Please also tell your family and friends especially if they live in Branford CT!

Next we have started hosting private flower-picking events on the farm! Our first event was on June 9th and we welcomed 12 people to the farm to pick flowers for a bouquet while enjoying some light refreshments. Consider hosting your next small gathering event on the farm. It's fun and flower-picking is so therapeutic! Events are hosted in the filed under a tent with table and chairs, appetizers, fruit/baked goods and soft drinks/juices. This is a great way to host a small party or meeting or family activity event. Right now we are only hosting the events on select Sunday afternoons in July and August when we are not at the Stoney Creek Market--July 14, July 28, August 11, and August 25th from 2;30 to 4:30pm! Additional days and times may be available. Cost is approximately $25/person for a basic event without any extras. The minimum number of people is 4 and the maximum is 16. Parking on site. Finally Friday July 14 is the last day to register for our "entire season bouquet subscription. Get a bouquet each week from June 15th to October 31 (18 weeks) for $300, That's less than $17 a bouquet for one that would cost you at least $30-$50 retail. at any other in person or online florist. Our entire season bouquet subscription also makes a great gift for almost every occasion!
